This weekend we attacked the Kitchen...we painted one wall a burnt orange color, and a chunk of wall above our cabinets - red. It looks great- but phew...it was a lot of work!!! Nathan was a champ and pretty much did the whole thing because some of the paint fumes were pretty smelly. I organized closets and moved a bunch of things around to get the baby room ready. We also painted one wall in the baby room....only 3 more to go!
After a long day of painting on Sat, we decided to treat ourselves to Waldo's Pizza. It's supposedly a famous KC pizza place with amazing thin crust pizza. So we were excited....but then....we couldn't find it.
We were starving, and kept calling the restaurant for directions and just couldn't find it. Eventually we started to see signs for Waldo's animal clinic, Waldo's Bar and Grill, Waldo's Market,....you name it...everything had the name waldo in it. Turns our I guess Waldo was a famous businessman that developed this little area - WHo KNew?
Eventually we did find it, and it was AWESOME. The cheese on the pizza was amazing, they had trivia cards to read while you were waiting, and we also tried some of the toasted ravioli...it was awesome. So that was the fun thing we did this weekend!
